Data center deployment partners are the companies that help stand up a facility: developers and builders, colocation and edge operators, power and cooling vendors, network carriers and advisors.
The directory on this page groups listed companies into categories including Colocation, Data Center Operator, Construction & MEP, Power & Energy, Cooling, Connectivity, Edge Computing, Site Selection, Consulting and Sustainability. A directory listing is not a DC Hub partnership or an endorsement.
DC Hub supplies the siting side of a deployment: the DC Power Index scores 300+ markets daily on spare grid power and grid constraint, each market page shows the basis of its figures, and listings is where capacity and powered land are offered. Companies can request a directory listing.
Software-defined networking (SDN) separates the network control plane from the forwarding hardware, so paths between servers, sites and carriers are set by software instead of by per-device configuration.
DC Hub does not hold data on which facilities run SDN fabrics or on-demand interconnection products. It holds the physical and exchange layer those services depend on: internet exchange and peering density from PeeringDB (get_peering_intel), fiber routes and carriers (get_fiber_intel), metro fiber depth (get_metro_fiber) and subsea cable landings (get_subsea_cables).
These are among the 94 tools in the DC Hub MCP server. See the connect guides above, the data sources and licences, and the Connectivity companies in the directory.
A sustainable data center site is judged on the carbon intensity of its grid, access to renewable supply, and the water and climate load of its cooling design.
DC Hub covers those inputs with tools rather than facility certifications. get_grid_scoreboard ranks grids by renewable share, gas share and fuel mix, across US operators, Great Britain, European bidding zones and several Asian and South American feeds, and every row states how old its fuel-mix reading is. get_renewable_energy reads one US state's utility-scale fuel mix for PPA sizing. get_water_risk scores US cooling-water stress from USGS water-stress data and the US Drought Monitor. get_climate_intel returns NOAA cooling-degree-day normals and USGS seismic hazard for a coordinate. get_global_power lists power plants and the build pipeline outside the US.
Facility records carry country, city, operator and status, not a green rating, so a facility described as sustainable should be checked against its operator. Operators and vendors that list themselves as Sustainability or Power & Energy companies are in the directory. See also tax incentives and the DC Power Index.
Sovereign cloud means data and operations that stay under one country's legal jurisdiction, which in practice starts with where the facility is physically located and who operates it.
DC Hub can answer the location part: search_facilities filters the facility map by ISO 3166-1 country code (for example DE or GB), city, operator and Uptime Institute tier, and each result links to a facility profile. DC Hub does not publish a sovereignty, legal-jurisdiction or government-accreditation rating for any facility, so those must be confirmed with the operator.
For the energy side of an in-country build, get_grid_scoreboard and get_global_power cover grids and power plants outside the US. Start from the facility map or the market pages, and read data sources for what each layer is built from.
