Why bother: ChatGPT runs MCP server-side and starts a brand-new session on every tool call, so it can never remember a key on its own. A key carried in the URL is the only thing that survives — without it you restart anonymous, at the anonymous limit, every single time.

Where it goes in ChatGPT

Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector

  1. Open Settings → Connectors (turn on Developer Mode under Advanced if you do not see it).
  2. Choose Add custom connector and name it DC Hub.
  3. Paste the URL above as the Server URL, leave auth empty.
  4. Save. search and fetch register too, so Deep Research can browse DC Hub as a source.
