US Interconnection Queues — Data Center Load

1,113 GW sit in active generation interconnection queues across 7 US ISOs. Data-center / large-load (demand) queues are a separate measure and are never added to it: ERCOT alone reports ~474 GW of large load (June 2026, ~90% data centers). Below: per-ISO totals and top BUILD subregions (shorter queues, faster Time-to-Power).

How DCPI uses queue data

Queue position and length, combined with signed-contract load growth and retiring asset capacity, feed the DCPI Excess Power score (BUILD signal in markets where the queue is quiet relative to available headroom) and Constraint score (CAUTION/AVOID where backlog drives Time-to-Power past 17-24 months). → Open DCPI
