Stranded Power Map
Where filed generator retirements free grid interconnection close to data-center markets, and where interconnection-queue projects have been leaving the queue. Every figure in the report comes from DC Hub's own data at the time you open it, with its source and date, and the report says plainly what it does not measure.
What the report contains
- Retirement-freed interconnection. Large units with filed EIA-860M retirement dates, grouped by plant, ranked by retiring capacity, with the nearest substation, the county's interconnection-queue pressure and the nearest DCPI-scored markets with their verdicts.
- Totals by ISO for the same retirement filter across the US ISOs.
- Queue exits by ISO. Projects that left each ISO's queue feed, with the largest single exits, labelled as a withdrawal proxy, plus the ISO-stated pending-termination moves where an ISO publishes them.
- Coverage and limits. Capture history, feed gaps, ghost rows and everything the report does not cover.
What it does not claim
- Withdrawn queue capacity is generation leaving a queue. It is not capacity a data center can draw.
- Curtailment is not in the report: DC Hub has no measured curtailment source.
- A filed retirement date is not a firm date, and distance to a substation is not deliverable capacity.
