DC Hub × Microsoft Copilot — Integration Package

DC Hub (dchub.cloud) is a live data layer for the physical infrastructure behind AI: data center facilities worldwide, power-market scores (Data Center Power Index), live ISO grid telemetry, interconnection queues, fiber, gas, water and disaster risk, and tracked data center M&A. It is served over MCP at https://dchub.cloud/mcp (Streamable HTTP) and over a REST API.

DC Hub's MCP server (https://dchub.cloud/mcp, Streamable HTTP) works with Microsoft Copilot Studio's Model Context Protocol tool and with GitHub Copilot in VS Code. A step-by-step page is at https://dchub.cloud/integrations/copilot-studio.

Copilot Studio — MCP wizard (recommended, no files needed)

  1. copilotstudio.microsoft.com → open or create an agent
  2. Settings → enable Generative orchestration (required for MCP)
  3. Tools → Add a tool → New tool → Model Context Protocol
  4. Fill in: - Server name: DC Hub Intelligence - Server description: Live data-center infrastructure intelligence: facility search and scoring, market power-index rankings, real-time grid telemetry and headroom, energy prices, interconnection queues, fiber, water risk, tax incentives, and tracked M&A. - Server URL: https://dchub.cloud/mcp
  5. Authentication: None works at free-tier depth. For full depth pick API key → Type: Header → name: X-API-Key, and the connection creator pastes a DC Hub key (see https://dchub.cloud/pricing).
  6. Create → Create a new connection → Add to agent. Individual tools can be deselected on the MCP server settings page.

Copilot Studio needs a Microsoft Entra work account, a Copilot Studio license or trial, and a Power Platform environment.

Copilot Studio — custom connector (this package's YAML)

dchub-mcp.yaml is a Power Platform custom-connector definition (Swagger 2.0 dialect) with x-ms-agentic-protocol: mcp-streamable-1.0. Import it via Power Apps → Custom connectors → New custom connector → Import an OpenAPI file. Use this path when you want one connector shared across tenants; otherwise the wizard above is simpler. planner.txt holds suggested agent instructions.

GitHub Copilot in VS Code

mcp-config.json in this package is the VS Code block. The top-level key is servers, not mcpServers. The canonical, generated version is at https://dchub.cloud/install/vscode.

Access

DC Hub answers keyless at free-tier depth. For a higher allowance, send X-API-Key: YOUR_DCHUB_KEY (REST) or add the same header to your MCP client. Claim a free key with the claim_free_key MCP tool or POST /api/v1/keys/claim; plans are at https://dchub.cloud/pricing. YOUR_DCHUB_KEY in this package is a placeholder, never a working key.

MCP tools

A starting set. The server's full, current list is what tools/list returns on https://dchub.cloud/mcp, also published at https://dchub.cloud/llms.txt.
